7 Looks to Try This Valentine’s Day

I am so excited for this Valentine’s Day. I love Valentine’s Day every year actually, because it’s the one day of the year you have an excuse to spoil your loved ones and show them how much you care. I always get a surplus of chocolate and flowers to indulge in and this year I imagine it being even more special. If you have plans or are in the process of making them, keep these outfits in mind. I put together looks for several types of dates. They are available on my Polyvore and you can quickly click on any product you want and purchase them online through the site. I mostly choose affordable options and provide alternatives because let’s be honest, no one should plan on spending more than $100 on an outfit for one day (unless its for your wedding). They’re all not the usual V-Day theme that includes a plethora of red and pink; that’s because I believe you should stand out and be unique.

Let me know what you think and enjoy!

 “Don’t go with the flow.”

This is an easy, sexy look. It’s not the ordinary outfit that you’d think about wearing for Valentines Day, but if you’ve been in a relationship for a while, this is perfect. You can wear this to the movies, dinner, or even at home. It’s comfortable, dark, and edgy.

You can easily get a chiffon top at any Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, or H&M store for under $20. The white pants are from  Proenza Schouler and available for $175.

 “I’m no fashionista.”

This is perfect for a romantic dinner or if you’re spending the day with your loved and he might be taking you to a fancy hotel, beach, yacht, golf, or country club that’s upscale and fancy.

The pleated chiffon two color is available for $39 at udobuy.com. The heels are from $20 from Charlotte Russe, and the Michael Kors bag is $370.

Try neutral makeup with this look.

“Rock it glam.”

Simple, casual, and for the movies. Do not wear this look if you’re going to a fancy restaurant. If your date is taking you on an activity like mini golfing or bowling, this is perfect then too.
